"When I met Lauren Lowenthal, I was frustrated because I wanted better grades, but I did not know how to get there. I was intimidated by big assignments, and I did not know how to study for tests well enough to prove that I knew the material.  I needed to learn how to work effectively, and "live up to my full potential." Lauren taught me to set high standards that met, and exceeded, teacher expectations. More important, she taught me how to set and meet my own high standards, which have served me particularly well now that I am in college.

I used to have a difficult time getting started with assignments because I did not know how to fully develop my ideas. I got stuck, and I didn't know how to keep going.
